Just Film has three juries:
The children’s jury comprises five children aged 7-13. Their exciting (if difficult) task is to watch all of the films taking part in the children’s programme and select a winner.
The youth jury comprises five youngsters aged 14-19. Their task is to select a winner from all of the films taking part in the youth programme.
Anyone in the 7-13 and 14-19 age brackets can apply to be a member of the children’s or youth juries respectively. Announcements about the application process will be made in autumn ahead of the festival. Keep your eyes peeled for information on the Just Film website and Facebook page.
The international jury also selects a winning film from those taking part in the youth programme. The jury is put together by Just Film and comprises people from the industry working in Estonia and abroad. Past juries, for example, have included Rene Vilbre and Kristel Tõldsepp from Estonia, Dirk Hoyer from Germany and Raimo O. Niemi from Finland.
